I think generative AI could work as legitimate art if the concept is subverted in some way and used in a transformative way. In my mind it would work as some form of mixed media with more concrete legitimate art forms used in tandem with it. Maybe the useage of AI could be used as an artistic critique of AI itself? There’s probably something quite smart you could do with it.
