One thing the chatbots are missing is learning long term, all the commercial ones (as far as I have heard) are static, as in, once trained they never change, they only evolve within the separat session but they get slower the longer the session goes on since the prompt gets longer.
That means it will have a hard time to develop any long term experience and plans.
And the reason they are static is because a chatbot that learn might also divert from the planed use which is usually not desired in commercial use :D
