These things don't happen overnight. It's not as though we hadn't heard of autonomous cars and driverless trucking over the last ten years.
They aren't widely in use NOW -- but frankly, if you haven't prepared, then you have nobody to blame but yourself.
Training or planning to train to be a truck-driver over the next few years is profoundly ill-advised.
