Oh wow! I had no idea. Thanks for this video and explaining it in such a clear way. I will certainly not be using AI. I'm sure there is a way for this system to be ethical. Maybe if an AI developer really likes an artist's work then they can contact them to ask their permission and pay them to have their art included in the AI program. Then, any art made using the AI would give that artist a certain percentage of the cost. I'm sure it'll still be horrifically small because corporations are allowed to give the least amount of money to people who do the most work but if it does blow up then that could still be a considerable amount. Any AI using work not within their specific folder would get sued and the artists compensated.
