When we fo us on UBI that becoms a problem b/c UBI is a stop-gap measure for the continuation of a capitalistic model in the face of a world where it cannot work b/c you no longer need human labor and thus as pointed out nobody to buy anything. The actual solution is in a post scarcity world you just dont need to buy anything. In a true fully automated world where robots and AI can do everything a current human worker can do only better and 24/7 then at some point the world goes communist or some version thereof. The people will need to gain possession of the means of production (the robots) and do away with a no longer needed form of compensation (money).
