Are we automatically believing the reasons for the layoffs? Or the headlines? The announcement doesn't even say they're replacing anyone with AI.
Fire some workers, make everyone else work harder, stock price goes up, deal with the consequences later, talk about the the latest buzzwords.
Not saying AI can't replace jobs, but who knows what's happening here and we shouldn't be believing the PR.
