I have been starting to appreciate pieces like 'fountain' and 'banana on wall' more and more. every time there's a new thing making waves in the art world about what is or isn't art, people come back to pieces like this. seems to me like they have a real staying power, seems like they've both achieved their goal, or at least one possible goal. the goal of making an impact on the people who viewed them, or even just heard about them. will any ai generated pieces have the same impact?
