That’s one of the most disheartening arguments for AI I usually see, because I have seen so many of my friends put down drawing as a hobby because they don’t see their own improvements, and only see how their art compares to more experienced artists. This kind of self deprecating argument I feel hurts the person making it more than anyone else, and I almost always try to respond when I see this argument being used.
