The infrastructure needed for AI Trucking isn't anywhere close to being ready. AI for now, is only good for Warehouse to Warehouse Distribution and even that may require a driver on board for insurance purposes. Truck drivers will also still be needed for final mile deliveries to consumers and businesses. Oh BTW, these Trucks will need shops for maintenance and that will require and create jobs.
