"Train to be a plumber" I mean he's not wrong, plumbing, electrical, HVAC and in situ welding are not gonna be automated anytime soon; but that's unfortunately not an option for a lot of us due to health issues. Office work is fine for me, especially with work from home, but going to strangers' houses every day would just get messy.
Plus what happens to the plumbers' pay once a million people switch to plumbing? Sure we'll have the most well maintained pipes in human history, but we'll be doing the work for $1 an hour.
