What really gets me about Shad is his complete lack of understanding of art. Which leads me to believe that the skills he does (did?) have were not acquired by trying to create until he got more proficient but by just tracing over other people's art until it entered muscle memory.
He refuses to acknowledge that there are people who like different styles or look for different qualities in an artwork than he does. His repeated comparisons between AI images and human made images and insane claims that one image is objectively 'better' than the other suggest that he thinks there are no other metrics to evaluate an artwork by other than how close it is to the high-res, HDR, plastic-wrap hyperrealism he has declared to be the pinnacle of art.
The best example is 18:48 when he says "And we finally have a much better image."
Like seriously dude, it looks like crap. Completely lifeless and static. And it's disheartening that someone who showed interest in expressing himself artistically once can't recognize that.
