I'm generally an AI skeptic, but it has its place. No matter how good a human doctor is, it's easy to overlook a diagnosis you've never encountered before. Case in point, a Nigerian British doctor diagnosed malaria in a patient; it was trivial for him, and a total mystery to those who'd never seen malaria. Asking the AI model is not all that different from searching a database with good metadata (which we have long accepted).
