So if a human uses that same information/data to produce their own image and your work was their influence what is the difference???? I think this comes down to the real issue which is an AI can do that interpretation quickly without years of learning and then it can also upscale and provide a variation just with a click of a button!! Also now companies are letting you decide if it can use your work as the data set, such as Artstation whereby their change is so that you can specify that work is not to be used as an AI art influence/data. But the works that AI produce are made up of that machine data and written prompts, and peoples prompts which can be as much an art form, as brush strokes for the art work a person is trying to produce!! Hypothetical then:- What if a human wanted to generate ART but has lost an arm or use of upper limbs does this not provide an outlet for their inner most desire to be a part of something they care for and be apart of?? Isn't art about bringing like minded people together to share ideas and produce inspiring images?? It's sad that artists cannot see the real uses for this!! And the truth is artists which are against it are only bothered, due to it effecting their revenue stream as it provides high competition in the industry!! If your work is brilliant people will buy it!!
