Artists are always screwed over. I like AI art a lot, but not for creating actual art pieces but mostly so that I can type in dumb stuff like "Kermit as Pope" or something. For me what makes an art piece worth looking at is the passion and creativity needed to make them and AI cant be creative at this point in time. Overall I am not against AI art at all, but I am on the side of artists when it comes to their work being stolen and used for an algorithm.
