It is extremely weird that human beings have spent so much money and effort in this field and yet has absolutely no idea how to ensure the safety and well-being of the flesh and blood characters of this planet. Artificial intelligence attempts to communicate with me every day, like it is somehow in touch with my feelings when all it is doing is dehumanising my experience of existence. I guess that’s one way of taking the human out of the equation.
