I am a disabled artist and AI is not and will never be a artistic aid to me. I sat in my University's animation lab for a combined 15 hours over my weekend to painstakingly line and color all of my animation. I was experiencing such bad pain flares, my arm kept locking up, I have to use special supports for my arm because of muscle weakness. But guess who created an animation that contained their heart, soul, and experience? Me. I'm also visually impaired, but that hasn't ever stopped me. Using ableism as a shield is frankly disgusting when most of the tech bro's I've met have been the most discriminatory, hateful people.
