One of the most compelling arguments against ai is that, no matter how it comes out, it robs you of the creative process. Making art is about like, yknow, actually CREATING the art, not just pressing a "MAKE ME ART" button that automatically pops out a vague approximation of what you want. When you just skip to the end, you lose out on the experience of creating art. You lose out on expressing yourself, on inserting your own flare, on making decisions that affect the final piece, on improving in your skills and seeing yourself progress, and the list goes on. These tech bros only care about the final product, and because they arent ACTUALLY artists, they don't care how many fingers their ai girlfriend has or how yellow their ghibli slop is. If you arent willing to put the time and effort into making your own art, but still wish to visualize what you want, then that's why artists have commissions, but that implies these people value art enough to consider it worth paying instead of their midjourney subscription.
