Some of this information is just not good. First place self driving cars or Robo taxes are still very new. You cannot expect them to be perfect at this stage of the game. And you can’t wait for perfection before they start using them. That’s just not the way it works. And they will improve very rapidly.
Secondly, this lady saying that rideshare drivers are 4-5 times more likely to have a wreck than regular drivers it’s very misleading. They might be more likely to have a wreck than a regular driver, but that’s due to the number of miles, they are driving. When it comes to a per mile driven basis, they are actually slightly safer than your regular driver.
