I'm mixed on AI tbh. Rather than think AI itself is bad, I think it's the misuse of it that is. AI shouldn't be trained off of stolen works without the creators knowledge or permission but if an ai is trained on art submitted for that purpose I don't see as much of a problem with it. Especially if that AI is used as a tool by artists to enhance their own creativity. Some patterns and techniques AI "uses" is actually physically impossible to replicate by hand. AI can open up opportunity to incorporate literally impossible patterns into artwork expanding artists creativity. AI should not be replacing artists. It should be a tool to support them. This war between AI and Art is so sad because it's basically the antagonization of a tool because so many people misused it stealing the work of the creators it should be supporting.
