I would like any of these clowns to give a single example and explain exactly how AI can take a single job. In detail. Any job. Weird how they can never explain that.
They can’t replace jobs because LLMs are non-deterministic and you just end up creating as many or more jobs to wrangle the AI than you are replacing.
This doesn’t even consider using LLMs to do a task uses orders of magnitude more energy than a competent human does, even including the indirect energy costs of keeping the human alive.
Please have Ed Zitron on and STOP giving these LLM grifters a platform to scare people with their self-serving propaganda. Guy may have left openai, but he clearly still drinks the koolaid. Probably because his career depends upon people taking this technology he fancies himself an expert on seriously.
