Ok but like you don’t have to use a program that inherently steals other people’s art, claim it as your own and then complain when no one takes you seriously as an artist. You could spend that same amount of time (and potentially save money) just learning how to draw. Even if you are “born with it” it’s still a skill you have to train and work at in order to be good. I love to draw and have for a long time, but there are artists out there half my age that are INFINITELY better than me because they devote a serious amount of time to refining their technique. Da Vinci didn’t just come out knowing how to paint the Mona Lisa, he spent literally decades learning how to paint before he pulled that off. For me the “leave me alone you’re born with it” argument rings so hollow simply because AI relies entirely on the work of others, many of whom probably were “born with it” and don’t put their hard work on the internet just so it can be plagiarized.
