As always, there is a thin line between inspiration and plagiarism.
And because AI is literally unable to add something original to the artwork, to me it is just an advanced form of plagiarism where there are so many pieces taken and smushed together that they are less recognizable by a human, but it is still stealing another person's work.
I don't mind when it is used for fun or even as reference and/or inspiration by artists to do their own artworks, but selling them as is is not ok imo.
