Fact check: To clear up whats happening in this video, the ‘driver’ is using Autopilot, which is a glorified adaptive cruise control that also helps keep you in the lane you engaged it in. It does *not* navigate and make turns/take exits for you. The description of the video is accurate, don’t trust autopilot to take an exit because it wasn’t programmed to do so.
FSD (Full Self-Driving) is what enables you to trust your tesla in a situation like this, since it was programmed to follow directions to arrive at your desired destination.
Source: I have a tesla with FSD and have tried basic Autopilot before.
