Use AI for reference and ideation at most, similar to google searches for image mood boards. It CAN be a tool in the vast arsenal of a real artist, but not any fool who has no concept of creating something prior to it's use. I have used it to practice character poses and landscape practice, but never copy the output directly. Use paint's, paper, and technical knowledge to still put some soul into what you are doing or it loses any and all meaning. The awe that art brings is how someone's mind and hands could create such a beautiful piece and when the answer is "I pressed enter a couple times" I am gonna move on to someone who actually spent years developing a style because that is truly at the root of all good art.
