Charlie, there's one thing you really don't seem to understand about AI art. Using one of the programs that someone makes to automatically generate the prompt and model for you is obviously not art. This guy is full of shit. HOWEVER, creating your own LORAs/checkpoints and carefully crafting a prompt and settings to create something good IS art. Download Stable DIffusion and try to generate an impressive piece that doesn't look like generic slop, it ain't gunna work out. The whole argument that AI art is somehow lesser than "real" art is absurd. Anyone can learn to make AI art, just like anyone can learn to draw. There are thousands of artist out there that are completely unknown, either because they haven't had a lucky break or because they don't bring anything unique to the table. It is exactly the same as AI art. At the end of the day, AI art really isn't much different than new tools being created for your art program of choice. If you don't have the talent, you don't have the talent and won't make anything worthwhile. Just to once again state it, this guy using Midjourney thinking he's doing something creative is an idiot and wrong, but that is not true of all AI art. It is just another art form the world wasn't ready for yet.
