These are all the artisty types whining about how they're getting replaced by ai. It may not be as good, yet, but it is phenomenal if you think about it. That 1s and 0s can understand prompts and turn them into movie clips is mind blowing.
And this is the worst this technology will ever be.
Artisty types may be p!ssed off but for general consumers this is revolutionary. Imagine being able to flop down in front of your 200" wall telly and say to your ai, "Make a comedy about a frog and a mouse going on a space adventure. I want it like a Pixar classic, funny for kids and adults alike. We have a four year old watching, so nothing too scary and Aunty Liz is coming over in 50 mins, so lets have it all wrapped up in 45... go."
Veey soon there will be no need for creative humans to do this work for us - no needfor Hollywood. If you are creative, (and i am btw), then you'll just have to learn to derive validation from within, rather than from an audience. Your work will have to bring you meaning and fulfilment simply by being beautiful and satisfying as it is.
My daughter is studying animation presently, with great dreams of working on films and shows. My heart bleeds for her - she hates ai with a passion.
