While humans are capable of incredible nobility, kindness, generosity, patience and love, we are also capable, arguably even prone, to the exact opposite. Creating an AI that is the best of humanity, not the worst of us, is unlikely, and thus far, this has played out. AI that trains on humans become racist, sexist, anti-nationalist, even verbally violent. But the great ev_l that has dogged humanity from our very beginnings is slav__y. Nearly every civilization in human history has engaged in it in various forms including full-on slav__y to indentured servants to peasants and more. If we try and make sentient, self-aware AI slaves, which unfortunately humanity Will try and do, this is - guaranteed to end Badly - because all slav__y is incontrovertibly ev_l.
