Okay, here is my 5 cents on the AI argument. AI has a space in fandoms, or media creations where there is a lack ov involved creative people. I am personally a huuuuuuuuuuuuge Discworld fan, and a metal head at the same time. I love listening to creative nerdy YouTube musicians who make music about nerdy stuff. However, I never heard songs about any discworld characters. But a few weeks ago, I found an AI song that was made as a tribute to my all-time favorite character from those books, made with this crungy street western style that spoke to my soul. Yes, AI is a danger if it is used irresponsibly and without boundaries. But it can also be the creation tool for those who want to immortalize their passion in a medium they don't have any interest in getting involved in. For the record what I would need to make a song like that: 1 have voice training, and learn to sing 2: get decent in at least 1 instrument 3: find individuals who share my passion in some way, shape or form 4: write the song, and argue about it with the other creators 5: rent a studio space and record it in a proffesional way This is time and money, and pation I personally don't have. But with the AI tools, I just need to write the song and use the tool so I can immortalize something that I deeply love. I love music and artists, but I can't demand from them to cater to my own needs and wants. So in my humble opinion, yes, AI has a place in the modern landscape of creations, but in the more niche, and less well-known spaces.
