When it comes to the medical ai, they can detect a persons skin color from xrays without doctors even being able to find the difference. This could be the cause of the appearance of the bias because a white person might appear sicker than a black person with the same injury when the ai looks at the xrays. Obviously this needs a fix, but it probably isn’t true rasism
