"When you lazily click smudge or blur" Sounds like this person expects this tool to instantly smudge everything exactly as you like. In my opinion, if the process is that of a tool being moved, it doesn't count as AI, even when performed by a robot, since AI just predicts what pixels should go where based on the prompt. Which sounds exactly like what this argument expects will happen when you use smudge or blur.
