This guy is simply misled and doom and gloom sells. He assumes that a super intelligent AI has the same goals that we developed because of Darwinian processes. It doesn’t need power and resources that make it more reproductively fit. There’s no reason to suspect that because it’s highly intelligent that it will have goals apart from the goals that we give it.
