as a disabled person who uses art as a way to express myself, i find ai "artists" as fundamentally incurious people and have no sympathy for the excuses they use to defend it. developing artistic skills takes consistent work, and it's a lot easier to tell a computer to spit out garbled nonsense. do they think we came out the womb with these skills?? obviously artists spend years practicing their craft and these ai bros want to replicate that with as little work put in as possible. it's so disingenuous
