ASI won't kill us all...the sociopaths who are rich enough to control it ... will kill us all.
In case you hadn't noticed, Billionaires don't like the "Plebes" - they look at us as "useless eaters" who can only contribute to society with our labor and our consumerism.
Once that's replaced by AI and robotics, they will see us as "super useless eaters" who are just a huge dead weight on society.
Then they let ASI loose on the Plebes...THEN everyone dies.
