You see it writes it's " own " code, no people in the loop. Trial and error. And asked simple questions. And got answers that no one on earth expected. They did not ask, but They got how humans think, after digesting a million books, and how to do Ph.d chemistry that no one asked for. AND NO ONE KNEW WHAT AI WAS DOING . OR HOW AI WAS DOING IT ? It gets better, the one guy in charge of advanced AI, is said to have "not". been, " completely honest " when questioned by peers and Congress, that's called " lying ". The last thing you want is someone in charge of something so vast and powerful to be almost God like, appear dishonest, a lier, or a cheat. And for what reason ? We all are in deep shit. Humans are stupid. Imagine monkeys playing around with alien space ship controls, or a nuclear bomb. Eventually, by sheer repetition or coincidence or both the monkeys get lucky. Shoot off to another galaxie. Or detonate a thermonuclear bomb of immense proportions. Stay tuned.
