As an artist myself I can confirm I was not born with a "gift" I just had art supplies shoved into my face at a very young age and have spent practically my whole life drawing. I still have my notebooks from when I was a little child with basically no sentience. Definitely wasn't pistachio back then but it was a start. And I love looking back at all that I have made just to feel that sense of pride at how far I've come. And to make art is such a euphoric feeling, seeing all of the pieces come together, to see my skill, my hard work, my dedication, pay off. That's something you can't get from being an AI "artist" you can't look back on what the AI made and think "Wow I've improved so much I can't believe I've made it this far" And there is stuff I would LOVE to be able to create but I still need to work on it. The ability to animate is something I wish I was good at. But I need to practice just like an AI "artist" needs to practice drawing. I know that the path can seem really long and difficult but after all the time, effort, and the better you get? It will be worth it. You don't have to be the best, you just need to have passion.
