Reality is out delusion is in. Avoid academia that has political or corporate interests. Lots of money to be made with corrupted fields of science and social expertise but serves no good to humanity whatsoever and quite immoral. Academic accolade has become less respected and just for hire to buy consensus with privately funded research from interested parties through third parties pretending to be impartial. A.i will replace most intellectual jobs anyway like mechanisation did 100 years ago ended most mass manual labour jobs. Academic fields in practical applications that a machine with A.i combination can not do is the only real future for a carrier. Everyone else will just be a monkey with a spanner.
