For me, the work is separate from the creator. I think it is a terrible thing society is doing connecting the value of a work to its creator. Songs that came from Michael Jackson can be good regardless of what the man did. The ideas of the founding of our country can be good regardless of the flawed men that came up with them. And AI art can be good regardless of how they were created. Sometimes the creator's story can add to the value of the work, and sometimes it can detract, but there is still intrinsic value in the work itself.
