I am an artist, and I am all for technology developing. Back then, I didn't mind AI Art, and I sort of still don't. I have a problem with people. People who develop this ai and used copyright artwork to achieve AI Art. People who use this software and commercialize the work copied from a bunch of artist big an small. We need laws. I am all for AI but we need laws. Problem is that, most of the people in charge of making laws are behind on this. Some don't even use technology as we do. In New York, a law was pass to prevent bias using AI for hiring purpose. Which is almost good but still many states are behind on this. Even if court is trying to make laws right now. Problem is that technology is developing faster than ever before. It takes time for laws to pass. What would be appropriate, who is likely to take responsibility or liability, and just how much. AI is complicated. I don't think we will have laws on regulating AI any time soon. However we may have cases brought to court. And Court will have to (with the laws that currently exist) interpret the law for these AI cases. There just need to be regulation on AI. Leeja Miller, a practicing lawyer on YouTube made a video about AI and how is it legal. I recommend to watch it.
