EVEN NOW when a "human" operating a vehicle gets into an accident, there still may be additional manufacturers sued like if the brakes failed due to faulty breaks or if a motor controller caused the car to speed up suddenly or a failure in a steering system caused by "an inherently dangerous design." When the self-driving cars arrive, you will be able to DOUBLE the potential number of defendants available.
