Maybe the real answer is learn to code.
I know that sounds like a dismissive, mean spirited jab but I mean what I said. Learn a practical skill. Learn something that an AI can't replicate. Be valuable in ways that robots can't be. Maybe that's really the best answer we have.
I don't know. I'm an artist and yet I can't bring myself to fight this battle. I can't bring myself to hate these robots copying my work and learning my style and doing a better job than me. I can't imagine myself being one to rise up against something so quaint. And the reason why I think is because art I make is meaningful to me. AI can make art better than I ever could, but it literally can't replicate what it's like to create.
