I think it was Ring that was tossing an idea of having a drone in your home that would automatically activate and fly around your home to investigate any triggers that might mean there is a home break in. There is a car forum I'm a member of that this was brought up. The thread starter thought this was an awesome idea. I had to put things into perspective about why this would be a problem with a drone capturing video of the inside of your home. It's amazing how people are so easy to let their lives be held under a microscope.
As to the cameras, I have a security camera system. The system does not depend on any cloud server. All videos are stored locally. The cameras do not have access to the Internet. The only way to access the cameras is being on a certain part of my network where my firewall allows access or via VPN when I'm outside of my home.
