One way of putting this is that ai shifts the job from code writing to code review. Code review is a much more difficult skill than code writing, and people also don't take it as seriously because they expect their coworkers to be competent and have good reasons for their choices. And that human trust is especially dangerous when your coworker offloads their thinking to a bullshit machine.
