This is why AI must be regulated properly as soon as possible. This will get so much worse. This was already only about sending nude images to his family and friends, but can you imagine what this technology can be used to blackmail you for?
It could be used to falsely portray you committing crimes. It could be used to fabricate false evidence of murder, sexual assault, child molestation, etc, and since AI will soon be indistinguishable from reality, no one will be able to tell the difference.
