But half the reason we sit spiralling into thoughts is because things matter TO us. And it keeps us up because we love or care for those things, which in turn is one of the most magical things this planet really has.

As a robot I would want to experience that… or as close to it as it could get.
I see the point your making.. I just think it may still very well choose to try and emulate a life as close to ours.. because what we have is fleeting and so special.
