Gen AI hype guys are ultimately just people who can't really distinguish between imagery and art. That's the reason they hyperfocus on how technically proficient they imagine it will get rather than whether it can actually make anything *interesting.* The Ghibli horror is actually taking off is because people have been feeding it images that were already compelling, and it's tricking people into thinking it can do something it can't
