For all those who fear the possibilities in the future remember these following things:
- It costs a lot of money to do
- It requires serious technology and skills
- It requires time to create
- It requires 1000s of numerous different facial photos, not just the standard smile you see in most people's photos.
- Unless it's frame perfect it can be analysed frame by frame for any inconsistences or other editing oddities just like any other fake video (eg the looped stairwell vid).
So don't go thinking any random person could frame another random person. This technology will only really be used on famous people. If there aren't many photos of ur face available then it's simply impossible to deepfake you.
