AI is also starting to infest literature - and someone posted a very simple, yet amazing argument.
The difference between art and AI slop is simple - it lies in purpose.
There is a point in looking closely at proper art - seeing every detail put with thought and purpose, maybe a meaning.
Every element done with a reason behind it.
AI simply regurgitates, it has no concept of purpose or a reason. There is no point in looking at the details on picture made with it - they exist there just because the actual art used for scraping had those details - there is no intrinsic reason for it on the particular slop piece.
Why bother looking at "art" nobody actually bothered to make?
