Digital Art did not exist a few years ago nor did photographs, but when the camera was invented the people who make portraits did not revolt instead it presented a new opportunity as photographers, when digital art was invented...... people who make hand drawn stuff did not revolt. And nothing in this world can be created without taking inspiration, eg. A story writer or anyone who writes cannot complain that you used my text to train chatgpt, a farmer cannot say that the tractor makers saw me working and created this machine to replace me using that knowledge.
In short there is no need to worry, AI will bring so many new job opportunities for everyone including artists, If you were to tell a person who makes portraits about photographers before the camera was invented he would want to believe that this is not possible. But does this mean that no one will ever draw digital art the way they did without using AI? No, people will still do it in the future just like hand drawn portraits still exists and are valued even though they cannot beat the camera.
