some of the issues can be addressed, I suppose
if a 1000$ are inadequate to support one living in high cost of living area then the question to ask is whether someone whos not interested in doing full time job should be living in say New York?
Maybe they should be told to move to an area where this 1000$ would cover at least basic necessities.
Ofc this requires the state to decide how an individuals should live their lives, and this would be far too close to communism for many peoples liking.
Inflationary pressure would be lesser if there would be enough supply to match the demand.
Productivity would have to go up.
Which most likely would require automation to take the jobs people would most likely not be interested in doing.
