Unfortunately the navigation system has a long way to go to make the right lane choices and to receive correct data in poor GPS environments such as tunnels and underground systems. I can’t see if one component is not “near perfect” to allow semi-autonomous systems to work in any vehicle that self driving vehicles should not be allowed. Priority must be to create near perfect systems then work on integrating them.
